Re: New Dominator owner saying hello
It replaces a BMW R1200GS which I have to say I was not as good as I was expecting it to be. Don't even get me started on the indicator switching
![]() I didn't lose any money on it, so that's a positive |

Re: New Dominator owner saying hello
Welcome to the wonderful world of Dommie ownership. I have a '97 Dommie too, with 32K miles and still going strong. It's not been without its (minor) problems but, to me, half the fun of biking is taking them apart.
For a while I've thought that all the Dommie needs is another 10 bhp and a better front brake and it would probably be the perfect road bike - well it looks like you've got it I use mine mainly for all year round commuting and occasional rides with friends. Last Sunday we did a 260 mile round trip to the Cotswolds and back and it never missed a beat. Considering I was with an '09 CB1000R and an '06 RSV Mille I thought it did really well - just stay off the dual carriageways 'cos it soon runs out of puff. Enjoy. |

I've just fitted a Scottoiler. Not a difficult job, but the tank had to be removed to allow easy access to the vacuum pipe. Next job, buy and fit braided hoses. |
