    Exhaust Issues

I've bought the biggest shed of a Dommie ever and I'm planning to tour the alps on it in 2 weeks.

Problem is the link pipes on the silencers are shot. The left hand one is a work of art! Its a tube of rust held together by a casing of exhaust paste

I can't afford the £200 for an arrow one, and can't find any second hand.

Do the silencer of Fx's or FMX's or anything else fit easily?

Can anybody recommnd a breakers that might have some?

My other option is to weld on new link pipes but I would have to find/make some from somewhere and this won't be a straight forward task.

    Please help.

    Re: Exhaust Issues

Send an email to bikeayrcustoms@btinternet.com, I've just bought some bits from them for my Dommie (not the headers/silencers btw)and very reasonably priced too...they were selling an engine on ebay and said they had the rest of the bike for breaking, but they are no londer on ebay for whatever reason...worth a try in any case in my opinion

Cheers Dazza. I'll be there. Either on a battered dommie or in a vw caddy pickup.
