Hi mad4it028, what is your experience/opinion of Nitromorse? I am planning doing the tank from my dommie with it but have never used before. Any advice gratefully received. Regards Clive in sunny Jersey.

personly wouldnt use it on a tank as theres no need to take it down to bare metal
i have used it on frames and wheels its very good paint on leave 20mins scrape n scrub off then repeat very little effort at all burns like fekk if you get it on your skin tho..lol
also make sure you get all notromorse off before repainting

    Re: Restoring Dominator

Thanks mad4, right answer me thinks as I did not really want to do it. Any idea about spraying over the decals. Would they blister or ripple (steady! I said ripple not nipple) I must say that this is not a big time restoration, just a tidy up of an old cheap bike. That said it has low mileage having always been a Jersey bike (45 sq.Miles) as I can't wait to get her back on the road. Cheers, mine's a double.

Looks like quality dedicated work to me. Well done Pal! Mine is a quick tart up of a 95 Dommie which has been used as a commuter and left outside all it's life but has low mileage and runs perfectly. Good luck with your project. Regards Clive in sunny Jersey.

Nitromors is good but yes keep it away from bare skin! i know how much it hurts.
only thing i have used it on is a bicycle frame. if you read and follow the instructions(i did not at first!)the paint just falls off. be sure to wash the part you are stripping in clean water afterwards and jobs a good 'un!
