    That looks really good!

What does 'plastic coating' involve, actually? How's the finished surface?

The finnish is a smooth shiny quite hardy surface, withstands chips (hopefully) im sure i will find out when im trying to put the engine in can't decide what to do with my forks, ive stripped the paint off them already , do you polish the ally so its shiny or repaint silver or even black . Any ideas ?????? .

I've spent many an unhappy hour polishing forks and would recommend that you paint them. Keep up with the photos it's great to see.

    Re: Restoring Dominator

Well ive painted the forks back to ally silver, had a go at polishing them, not realy for me, dont have the patience for that, will post some pictures of before and after tomorrow also top and bottom yolks, cant decide what to do with the engine now, been quoted £45 to get the engine bead blasted. Might try degunking the engine first and see how bad it is ??????
