I didn't pay much more than that from k-tech when i had a service and custom build on my xr, i wouldn't say thats any cheaper but i didn't see postage costs

hi check this out for cheap shock rebuild

Shock Refurbishment
During a re-furb we fully dismantle the shock, It is then inspected for wear and thoroughly cleaned. The rod is then checked for chips or damage then polished to reduce friction.
The shock is then carefully re-assembled replacing all oil seals, o-rings and any bushes that are needed.
Once rebuilt, the shock will be set up for the rider.
Prices for this service is £55 + any Parts.
