Dominator oil check query.

Hi there

Can someone tell me if I should check my Dommie's oil with a cold or hot engine. Even though I know there's plenty of oil in it, the dipstick is still showing a very low level.

Yuo should check it after the engine has been run for a while as sometimes it leaks back past the non return valve in the pump. i usually check mine after i have been out for a run and the bike has cooled off for 1/2 and hour or so, but if you are unsure before leaving warm the bike up for a few minutes on tickover stop it give it a couple of minutes too settle then check
