    Dominator - leaking carb

Hi all, i just bought a domi for spares repairs and have managed to get good spark. However it doesnt start as the carb is screwed. With the pettock on, the overflow tube from the float bowl pours out fuel. I've taken the carb apart and it was pretty clean, so i cleaned it some more, put it back and the same thing happens. Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

Sounds like the float needle is sticking or got a little bit of dirt in it, or the float height is set incorrectly, try tapping the side of the float bowl in case it is just stuck before you strip the carb again

The spark plug is dry, the air coming out of the cylinder is a little petroly but obviously not petroly enough. I took the carb apart as it was over flowing and just to see what condition it was in and if anything was blocked or seized.

is the diaphram in the carb ok ?

i cant think of anything else that would stop fuel getting to the engine ..

could it be that it has no compression?

No suction from cylinder would mean no fuel sucked through carb

Its blowing air out of the spark plug hole when its open and out the exhaust so i guess its got compression. The guy i bought off said he hadnt ridden it for a bit and when he finally did it had trouble starting and wouldnt really pull away. Thanks for your insights everyone, ill get there eventually.
