    rear sprocket

    Hello all im wanting to change my rear sprocket so the front end is a bit more lively any one done this and what size cheers

    ive not done it but ive read somewhere if you go up 3 teeth on the back it transforms the bike in to a bit of a wheelie machine

    bigger sprockets available from wemoto

    Mine's got a bigger rear, but it makes 1st gear almost useless. Pain in the ass really.

    I had a 47 teeth on the back for some time as opposed to 45 stock. It does get a bit more lively out of the corners and off the line, but you do lose top speed as it needs to rev higher for any given speed and it hasn't got much to spare in that area.
