    My Dominator is no more

    Hi Guys,
Bad news, I sold my 1999 Dominator today. She who must be obeyed said it had to go because we bought a Deauville 4 months ago and the money was needed. I didn't want to sell it but I had no choice. I now have a big hole in my shed so probably time to get the Bantam off the wall and start building it. Or I may drag the Motosport out and do that up.
If you look up the threads you will see that I spent a lot of money on my engine and just before buying the Deauville I replaced both cans because the connecting pipes gave up the ghost.
I still have a Hepco & Becker rack for it if anybody is interested. This cost me £180 so sensible offers please. Sadly the panniers I used were old BMW items that I hacked about to make fit and they were held on with ratchet straps.
Keep happy while I go and sob in the corner.
    Mike

Sad to see them go even when they give you trouble.

    Have fun with the newbie.

    Thanks mate.
Last Tuesday I saw the bloke who bought the bike as I had to collect the helmet and gloves I lent him. He had the bike with him in work and said he absolutely loves it. He couldn't believe how well it handled and how you could throw it into a corner. I did all the work he'll get all the benefit. I am glad that it is going to be used and that the new owner is enjoying it. I'll probably make you sick if I told you how many spare parts he had as well.

    Ride safe and keep happy
