    NX 650 1992 Touring/overland

I am looking at getting a bike to go touring on I will be going from the UK to Mongolia. My budget for the bike and getting it ready is around £1600.I am tall at 6ft 3in and was wondering if a domi would be to small for me?

The dommie is a bit small though you could do a lot worse. Seat height is ok, though the seats themselves tend to suck after a while.

This might be a workable low-cost solution, I found it surprisingly comfy if a bit elaborate.

lol thats the coolest seat I have ever seen!

Redneck solutions are often the best, looks darn comfy too.

Oh it certainly isn't comfy yet. This was to make the seat bearable instead of completely crippling. But then the seat's been on there for the past 50k miles and it's had a few rips and tears in it for half that, meaning the interior is completely wasted and it's far too soft.

But, yeah. There, I fixed it.

Btw Hallabout, I'm 6'1'' and the bike still seems big to me, but I think I fit it ok. Have wished for longer legs a couple of times though when I've hit my knee on the rack lol.

Bar risers might be a good idea.
