essential kit

ok guys and gals.i now have a top box for the dommie and im ready for a few long excursions.can anyone advise on some little bits of kit where i will gasp and say "aaahhhhhh did'nt think about that"and also some extra ways to get a bit more kit on the dommie

In my topbox are a few tools including insulation tape and half a dozen cable ties, spare plug, spare bulb for tail light (didn't bother with front because if the dip beam goes I'll manually dip the lamp), spare earplugs, spare gloves and my waterproofs and on a good day two pies, my camera and a flask of coffee.

Just strap a big waterproof luggage roll to the pillion seat - cheap, light, waterproof & simple

As for extra bits of stuff, like anything it's a learning curve. Find out what works for you & the trip you are planning.
