    Dommi cutting out

    Hi
    Hello to all!
Just got myself a dommi had the problem with tickover upped pilot jet now sorted!
Now when it's ticking over its fine when handlebars are straight but when you turn them left or right
The idle slows down an it's cuts out?
I took the throttle cable off totally and it makes no difference!

Done it was choke cable! Cheers
Idle sorted, changed pilot jet from 48 to 50 and ever sinse iv done that
If you hold it wide open in top gear it sputters an it's very hesitant about 3000rpm
Iv taken the snorkel off an it seems a bit better but not right!

Pilot jet 48 or 50 will have no influence on any wide open throttle whatsoever, really. That will be a different problem...

    Thanks for the help guys!
It's now got a different problem, when riding along it cuts out it seems to be losing spark an iv noticed the rev clock drops down to zero.
When this happens if I flick the kill switch on and off it cuts back in, but it does the same thing if I wiggle the wires going into the cdi?

Check the plug is seating properly.
If the plug is OK and the wires aren't cracked internally then the CDI unit could be breaking down.
When does the bad running manifest itself, when hot?
The CDI units will break down, best to buy a new one from ignitech.cz they are around 110 euro IIRC.
Worth checking the killswitch as well, make sure its not worn inside.

I had the stuttering problem around 300rpm too. Turned out that the outer choke cable was too long...... (Maybe from the previous owner???) The choke needle couldn't return into carb fully. After shortening the outer cable; problem solved. Did the Dave's carb mod recently too. This made my Dommie run much smoother all round. Good luck.
