SMT apparently is a different bike to the SM. It's been designed for distance work as well as playing silly sods. There's hard luggage which clips into the silencer brackets so no metal work hanging off the bike and it has a bigger tank.

It is the SM with a little screen on it..

The 990sm is outrageous.... this one is not much different, despite the screen and tiny panniers (they are there to hold your spare pants!!).
