KTM 990 G2 Throttle cam help

Do any of my fellow Katoom riders have experience of fitting the G2 Throttle cam to the 990 Adventure?
I've got KTM heated grips fitted and was wondering if the swap can be made without trashing the heated grip in the process??
Also any comments on which of the 200,300 or 400 profiles to use would be mucho appreciated!!

I have the KTM heated grips and managed to get the right hand one off the standard throttle tube and on to the G2 throttle tube.

To get it off the old throttle- switch the grip on and get it nicely heated-up , then scoot some WD40 between the grip and the tube , using the wee red tube supplied on the can and gently work the grip off. Don't force it patience - patience a little bit at a time !!!

Dry the grip and install on the G2 tube.

I would use the "calmest" cam (400) first , they are very easily swapped over if required - they are designed to be so - they are designed for offroad racers to swap quickly for differing conditions.

Sorry don't have heated grips, not standard issue bling for the tropics, but I do have the G-2 400 fitted.
Bought the cams myself, from the States, dealer fitted, so never known anything else since I got the bike. Find it very smooth at lower speeds on road and what it can't keep with off road, I just 'clutch' my way out of!
Sure someone else will be along in a moment..........
