Re: Heated grips, which ones?
Hey, Bob!
How's everything, all Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion? I've got the Symtec heaters from Windingroads.com, they fit under whatever grips you feel like fitting. Needless to say they are still unfitted but have great write ups over there in AdvlandCheers -Simon |

Re: Heated grips, which ones?
I also have the KTM branded ones fitted - they are "OK" - with 2 heat settings , not nearly as good as the Honda ones I had on my previous bike that had a variable heat dial switch .
If money is not a huge concern , I would fit a set of Honda grips to my KTM if I were doing it again. I understand , but may be corrected , That the Oxford ones with the variable dial heat switch are the same as the Honda branded ones.

Re: Heated grips, which ones?
I was told Oxford are bring out a new heated grip in March, I had the original dial type on my AT which were fantastic, but I have heard mixed reviews on there up dated ones, so I may leave it until March to see what they have come up with

Re: Heated grips, which ones?
I was in the dealers today, getting some warranty work done, and they said that they always fit Honda heated grips!
The reason, apparently, is that they're proven, with a simple controller, and small cables. Honda ftw

Re: Heated grips, which ones?
Hmmmmmmmm thanks for the replies guys. Much as I thought really, I had Oxford grips on my @ and they were great but was going to have the KTM ones just to keep it all 'in-house'.
Perhaps I'll go for Oxford after all. Bob.

Re: Heated grips, which ones?
Yep, the Oxford ones on your AT worked a treat
They are still stuck firmly to the original bars so, when I swapped for Renthalls, I bunged on a set of Hein Gericke ones because they were a fiver less than Oxford ones at the time. Those are great too and the electronic unit doesn't turn itself off when the bike is idling unlike some of the reports on the electronic Oxford ones. Of course Oxford may well have fixed that by now. So do KTM do them in Orange then?
