Actually I wanted to get 660 from France, there's always few for sale but all of them ( in my price range ) were unregistered.
I spoke to Jason from KTM Centre regarding getting it registered in UK and apparently it was a "doable".
What you'd need is the Certificate of Conformity from KTM UK, that shouldn't be a problem, you can get it from any KTM dealer as long as they're be willing to help youon that.
Later on it's all DVLA tests ( SVA? ).
TBH the best thing is to speak to them on: 0870 240 0010 about their tests.

I used to live round the corner from the Ace Cafe and would head down on my Transalp and look a bit out of place. Enjoyed watching the stunts though. A trip to the Ace sounds less daunting than taking this monster into the big dunes here. I'll let you know how I get on. I'm used to a crf 450r which must be half the weight. Have fun on your new bike. Looks awesome and should be an easier ride than mine. Bring it out for the Desert Challenge in '10 before the FIM ban bigger bikes. RC
