525 Rallye show off

I just thought it's about time to show my bike off

I've been on a market for rallye bike for few months.
I wanted to get 660 Rallye from France but all the bikes I've found were unregistered at all.
So it was the case of getting all relevant paperwork from KTM UK ( with unknown effect ) or having it registered under let's say LC4 Adventure.

At this stage I should mention GREAT HELP I got from fellow member - Fabien ( fabienlegall ) , who made / sent enormous amount of calls and e-mails to people in France who had anything to do with Rallye bikes.

One day I was reading a thread on advroder about these bikes and noticed post made by a guy who lives in Reading.

He had fully loaded 525MXC Rallye built by Patsy Quick on Meca System EVO1 parts.
To cut the story short after two weeks of haggling we came up with price which suited us both.

Few days after I've picked the bike ( thanks Stef ), me and Stef took our bikes for a spin on Salisbury Plain.

After that I've decided to do something about it like paint it ( thanks Stan ) / add few extra bits / clean it / suit to my preferences basically.

That's the final look:

As for the spec here it goes:

Meca System EVO1

- 22 litre fuel tanks ( 11l each side )
- complete fairing
- instrument holder and bar
- support for roadbook holder
- 10 litre rear fuel tanks ( 5l each side )
- aluminium sump guard with 3 liter water tank and toolbox compartment
- low slung Akrapovic exhaust
- low front mudguard
- saddle
- rear tool bag carrier and KTM tool bag

Other parts:

- ICO Light trip meter
- MD roadbook holder & lighting kit
- Garmin Summit GPS with compass ( not pictured ) & RAM mount
- Scott steering damper & mount
- rear cush hub
- Exchange re-winded alternator & rectifier
- 2 x Hella Xenon lights and fitment
- G2 throttle cam
- Rox risers
- Renthal 243 handlebar
- SenDec engine monitor ( m/hour meter )
- BulletProof radiator guards
- extended rear brake pedal
- clutch saver
- orange anodised fork bleeders
- Roc Stompa footpegs
- CNC machined alternator cover
- LED rear light
- Acerbis Supermoto handguards
- mousses front & back

I'm sure I've missed something on this list.
Still waiting to get handguard's plactic deflectors.

Perhaps you've seen this bike already at KTM Centre stand last Sunday at Ace Cafe - Overland Bike Day.

I hope you enjoy this write-up so as pictures.
Cheers

Pawel.

I would need the additional options of fitted stepladder and 1970's platform boots !!!!

What is the seat height - just out of curiosity ???

Re: 525 Rallye show off

Guys, I'm glad you like it and I'm sorry to miss you on Sunday, not all of you because me and Phil had a quick chat looking at his lovely XT 660R.

As for the seat height I think it's probably the same as 990 Adv. "S".

Cheers Todd.
I'm doing my best to keep it safe, actually my work is to prevent the thieving scum entering our houses & garages so hopefully I've got it well secured but you never know...
