Cheers Len.
I picked up new F/R mudguards for a tenner (Orange) and the 22L tank can stay black anyway..
I decided to leave the painting (Frame / Engine) till be the bike has "done a bit", all the bearings have been replaced throughout, and its been re-wired now, so i'll get an MOT and a back tyre (it already has a good Comp 3 on the front) and stick it in the Van and go and play.
.
I'll show you a nice place next sunday to give it a good shakedown.
09:00 at mine or 09:30 at scoffers, take your pick.
Only just seen this stan....Top project. And a great big rotax----cool as fu*k,

Fantastic bike and lovely rebuild, delighted to see one of these in such good order.
I have got a KTM 504 just like this one, in fairly rough condition though, I've had it a number of years and have been on the search for parts since i got it, does anyone have an idea if and where parts can be sourced, of course i could modify it to accept available parts but would love to keep it a close to original as possible. Rotax parts available so no problem there but plastics, tank, seat, and exhaust have evaded me so far. any suggestions appreciated, hopefully theres someone with an answer to my prayer.
Regards.
