One of my favourite Dinky toys when I was a kid, same colour too.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

    Hahah..They look great.

Do you know what they are called? They look a lot more stylish than the usual reliant robins (1970s futuristic style ).

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for 3 wheel cars and vans. I was a bit disappointed to find that you can no longer drive them on a bike license as they don't give you the entitlement for them any more unless you pass your car test. Otherwise I'd probably have an old reliant robin rusting away in the garden by now (these look much more fun though!).

Ahahh..Just found them: Bondbug.com. The web site dedicated to the Bond Bug. Bond Bug Spares, Bond Bug Advice, Bond Bug Forum.

If I ever eventually get around to passing my car test, I'm gonna get one of those!

    The interiors look amazing:

The only reason anyone ever bought them was because you could drive them with a full Motorcycle Licence.....

When did they change that then.....?

I'm not sure when they changed it (perhaps some of the older licenses might be OK unless they've repealed it from those too), but current bike licenses don't come with the entitlement on (it might be B1 or something if my memory is right), and to get it you need to pass the car test. I think you even need to pass the car test to ride a trike now too.

I should get around to trying the car test again some time just so I've got it on my license I guess, but I don't really have any intention of ever driving a car really (I'd rather get the bus or train). These 3 wheel things look like much more fun though.

I think it changed when they bought in the CBT.
I would still love to own one for the odd rainy day.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Just for a while, it was nearly cool to have a three wheel car
    I wanted one
RD07a, reg in 2001, Black, heated grips, short screen, Scottoiler, Givi top box and panniers, DataTag, full Riky Cross crash bars, Baglux tank cover, Facet pump, mostly 200 miles to reserve and presently a lot happier since being loved up at Chad's hospital for sick ATs!
