    Fork seal weeping oil......

My right front fork seal has started to weep a little oil, I was wondering whether it's because the average day time temp here is getting pretty hot (35-43 deg C). I have opened both the pressure equalisation screws on the steering head then retightened them, to see if that will stop the leak. However, have also taken the liberty of ordering new seals, since I have it under warranty still. Anyone experience the same problem and apply that remedy, did it work?

Yes and no then a yes and yes
my seals went just before the TT last year I tried the pressure and checked the levels as it was only a light smearing, (I had just done a bike awareness day with loads of emergency breaking) but had to change the seals but in there favour I dont know how old they were

2 weeks ago at the MOT the tester said your fork seals are leaking, Bugger not again but I ignored it for the week and was going to sort them out now they are dry again,
I do keep saying I will fit gaiters another on a long list of todo's

Thanks SH, the loosening of the pressure release screws seems to have worked, no more leaks/weeping. Have ordered new seals and oil anyway as they'll be free.
