    Fuel voodoo...

    Hi All,

I've had the KTM for two weeks now, and I'm absolutely loving it! I'm hearing lots of different numbers on fuel consumption, and I'm just wondering what everyone is getting...

I get about 130 until the light comes on in city traffic, with 140-150 until the light comes on outside of the city.

This is with the topbox on...

I remember Stanbloke saying he got 170 miles out of 13 litres of petrol, I'd love to know how

Mine's got the standard cans & mapping on...

The "In town" mileage sounds about right-ish.

170miles/ 13.54L was on the M6 , two up and loaded for camping at Dent. Steady 75/80 and easy on the right hand.

Riding it steady around my area I'm still getting 165/15L....soooo glad i put it back to standard..... but twist the throttle and go out to play and the big Katoom becoms as thirsty as a thirsty thing thats really thirsty..

    Have fun JB..

I seem to average 160 to the light. That's mostly 50% motorway sitting between 70 and 80 and 50% B-roads. Does anybody know what the range is once the light comes on aproximately? IT'd be good to have an idea and not have to deal with that "I wonder if I can get to" feeling.

I usually get about 270kms(+/-170miles) to the light, guess that's about right then.
