Changed my beloved TA650 for a new 990 Adventure a few weeks ago, went for a white one instead of the Orange ones. Came with the luggage and touring screen and I have since added a few bits to make life (and my ass) a bit more comfortable, like a gel seat, engine bars, heated grips, Zumo 660 and Autocom etc. So far I've done about 1500mls and just love it, does everything well, it tours, goes off road and all in relative comfort, GREAT Bike!!!

Thnx for the comments.
I find the touring screen spot on, doesn't eliminate the buffeting but cuts it down to reasonable levels, I am 6ft tall and it seems to suit me ok. I tried the standard screen to see but only went a few miles before I turned and put the touring screen back on.

A friend of mine put a 2 into 1 Akra pipe onto his 950 Super Enduro & together with a few jetting changes said that it made for a much better bottom & mid-range. He then used an old fire extinguisher to enhance the range of his bike by setting it up as an external fuel tank in the position of the left hand silencer.
