    Quick Winter rebuild

Got a 400 2002 plate KTM400 to go to Spain with in October. Left it in Somerset when I finished work there just after the Spainish trip and finally brought it home at the end of November in the back of a Mondeo.
So it was partly stripped to get it in car.

I deceide to fully strip it and get the frame powder coated.

Got the frame back last Tuesday and started the re-assembly today. Not doing much else part from cleaning the parts as they go back plus the basic maintenance as I go.

Some pics, frame before shot blast and paint, then engine in and a few more bits refitted.

May get some new plastics but otherwise keeping it simple

    Re: Quick Winter rebuild

Bit more refitted last night, today and this evening. Forks, bars, wheels and tank. New oil, filters and coolant.

Getting the cable routing right was a bit of fiddle - take more pictures when taking it apart

Tank back on about 9:15pm, a bit of fuel added and it fired first time.

Need a new rear brake switch and possibly a headlight unit (alignment is way out, looks likes it hads a bump in previous lives and the mounting lugs are broken)
