Cool Overland To Australia

Planning a trip (mostly overland) to Australia in the spring of 2008 on a RD07 AT. No time constraints. Itinerary would probably be Europe,Russia,Turkey,Iran,Pakistan,India,Indonesia and then sea to Oz. Is there anyone out there who is planning or has done the trip recently. Planning on doing the trip solo but am considering teaming up with someone doing a similar trip ( safety in numbers etc). Would probably spend some time in Oz replenishing the coffers and then maybe return through Africa.
