Hi! I live on Costa del Sol in Spain. A perfect place for all kinds of biking. Both On and Off road. Its quite warm all year around (today Sep 30 around +30 in the sun). Lots of mountains and river beds just waiting for u.
As this is a place to spend your holiday its good to now that you can rent a bike, take a swim and even ski (2 hours ride to Sierra Nevada) the very same day.
A Honda Transalp cost app. 80E/day 1-2 days, 70/day 3- 6days and 55/day for 7 or more days.
Gasoline 95 a few centimos over 1 euros today.
There is a lot of camping cabins available, all over Spain.
Hotel and Hostals as well.
You can find it all on a search on Google.

In Feb, 4 of us went riding with Torotrails ( based at Alhaurin el Grande ) - lovely weather 20 degrees and miles of mountain trails, followed by great bars & restaurants in the evening. recommended

Yeh, have seen them passing but had no idea it was so close to where I live and ride.
Anyway too advanced rides for me..
