Clouds Hill, Bovington

I went down there last week on a UK tour, on me tod

Did 100mph past the spot on Clouds Hill where Lawrence of Arabia crashed his Brough Superior and was killed.

I think he would have appreciated that!

Re: Clouds Hill, Bovington

Went and had a look around last year - and stopped to take a couple of pics at the memorial stone

The memorial stone reads:

"Near this spot Lawrence of Arabia crashed on his motorcycle and was fatally injured 13th May 1935"

Definitely watch out for the tanks - they don't exactly creep up on you, but boy can they shift.............

Yep................I've driven one of those (the transporter-with tank on it, not the tank). I wanted to drive the tank
