Off Roading in BeNeLux - any suggestions for a newbie?

I've just bought an old XR600R for some muddy action over the winter, and live near Rotterdam.

Can anyone suggest locations/routes to start my off roading on, either nearby (Zeeland/Zuid Holland/Brabant) or in near by countries, e.g Belgium (Ardennes), Germany (Eifel) or Luxembourg?

I'm happy heading away for long weekends, and can trail the bike so don't mind a bit of a trek to get there.

    Hi Tim,

I did an offroad course in Rijssen 2 weeks ago... They have lots of sandy trails, and the odd motocross course as well.

Check out INDEX OFF ROAD (which is where I took the course). I'm sure you can get Henk to show you around, if you can keep up with him!

He was teaching us figures of 8 in the grass, and as a demo, he wheelied out of every turn into the next one...

I'll look into that as I've minimal off road experience at the moment, cheers

Did you do it on your own bike?

Nope, if you take the course, they supply the bikes and all the gear.

The bikes are Honda CRF250's, very nice!
