Hi mate i work in the Motorcycle clothing trade and ive had a lot of feed back regarding this helmet so hope i this will help..
If you are use to Shoei or shuberth flip fronts then the caberg from a build quality point of view doesnt come close as it has a very flexi plastic outer shell however the Caberg is around half the price of a Shoei. Also a lot of people are drawn to the Caberg due to being able to fit the Blue tooth function but this is around £150 on top of the price of the helmet. The Black visor however is very good and does cover the hole area of sight unlike the Airoh rangeIf you can wait untill the end of April (Dont listen to what most dealers will tell you) there is a new helmet hitting the shelves from SHARK Called the Evo Line ive tryed a pre prodution one and its fantastic has a good sun visor the front flips all the way back so its legal to ride with the front up unlike the Caberg the RRP Will be £250.So i suppose what im saying is if you only have £150ish to spend then the Caberg is the best flip front on the market 100% however if you can stretch to £250-£280 go for the Shoei Multitec or Shark Evo Line
The Cabergs are also quite a bit noisy compared to other flip helmets. I've had one for a couple of years and it's a lot better build quality than most of the flips in the same price range.
What I would say though is shop about as I've seen some places selling it for about £100

Thanks for the info.
I'll have a look around at other options but I can't really wait until the end of April. Will also see about a cheaper price for the Caberg £135 is the cheapest I found.
The cheaper ones may well be last years model that doesnt use the Blue tooth function i would also look at the Caberg Trip helmet more or less the same slightly smaller shell still has a inner visor and the RRP Is only £99.99
but stock in the uk is low at the moment![]()
There is some good prices on here
http://www.thevisorshop.com/acatalog/Caberg.html
Trip for only £99 and the GT for £149
I've got 1 and find wind nose is too loud, find a shop with a wind tunnel or take it out on a ride
All flip fronts have a higher noise level than a full face (dont include the Multitec in that statement) but if worn with ear plugs it isnt that much of a big deal. Without ear plugs i find every helmet on the market is loud regardless of cost etc
I bought one January this year, with bluetooth fitted. It is noisy without earplugs, Flick down sun visor is excellent. Bluetooth connection to mobile phone is simple and very handy. Construction not the best feels a little flimsy, although helmet is light. I find it very comfortable.![]()
I bought one and to be honest it is quieter than my old helmet. I also like the internal tinted visor which is really handy. Also it doesn't seem to get buffeted about that much in the wind. So far no complaints.
