    Helmet mounted brake light

HI, I bought one of these and it's worked very well. The batteries appear to last for ages. They attract attention from other bikers and car users too, which means they see you. Very easy to install too, you just swap the bulb over in the rear brake.

LED Wireless Helmet - Third Brake Light System
Ride in safety with the Wireless Helmet 3rd Brake Light kit for Motorcycles.
Promotes visibility and rider safety - High illumination LED lights.
Wireless transmitter (inside of Replacement LED Bulb) sends braking signal to receiver LED's on the back of your helmet or anywhere else on your Motorcyle that you want to install the receiver. Receiver is flexible for easy and accurate mounting. Easy to replace batteries (4 - 3v batteries) easily accessed from the front of the receiver.

    Re: Helmet mounted brake light

I got mine during the winter because of the early dark evenings. It was good because I ride around London a lot. It comes into it's own when you are in front of Buses and lorries because, due to their seat height, they can't always see your brake light. Anything that is slightly different and catches the eye is good in my book. BAsicallym the bulb which you install is the emitting device that connects to the LED on the helmet light. As soon as that comes on, it emits a signal and the helmet light comes on.
During the day the LED isn't bright enough to warrant having it on really, but at night it's very clear. I've had guys on bikes asking me where I got it all the time.
It also has an option to have it permanently flashing in case you need to have a 'hazard' style warning light.
I'm very happy with it and it adds no whieght to the helmet either.

Crikey! It looks like a scene from close encounters of the third kind! All you need is the 'do-di-do-do-da' music now! Looks great though!
