I seem to have a fault with an HJC flip front helmet. The mechanism is shut but the lever has caught in a sort of crossed over position which wont allow me to open it again without forcing it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Off to the dealers in the morning to have panniers fitted so I will hand the helmet over to them as it is less than a week old.
