No, but they did say that they could order one in for me if I tried another type of spada helmet on for size. I said I'd get back to them on that, there are a few dealers within 8 miles of where i live, so I'm going to see if they have them already in stock first.

I have not as the nearest dealer from me is in preston Ghost Bikes so was going to leave it till I was over that way next. But I am too interested.

    Re: New Spada Sting Helmet

I have the spada sting in white, size large,
Its a great helmet for the money, well put together and has a ratchet style lock on chin strap which makes it very easy to get on and off with gloves on.. only thing i would say is that they are a close fit, i also have agv in large which is slighlty bigger fit... overall 10/10 for value and comfort. Alot of helmet for little money, also have the full spada suit, which has been superb!!!!

Hi Tink, What's the helmet like for noise? I wear PLUGZZ to reduce noise; they are fine once you get used to them, better than the foam jobs. My Shoei flip-front is good, I binned the AGV Numo (wouldn't clip closed, noisy, bad fit, sore heads) I put a hammer through it and the binman took it away. The Caberg flip-front is very noisy but comfortable. Bell O/F with flip-down visor is fine around town and a good fit. Spada looks good for the money, and I see that Ecosse M/C's here in Aberdeen is a stockist. But the noise is a big factor on longer trips, so I am curious to see what you think.
    Cheers
    Les

    Re: New Spada Sting Helmet

I Replaced my S4 with one of these recently for the money it looks stunning fits fantastic almost couldnt feel it on me but and this is a big but for me (no pun intended) i cannot use it in cold weather there is so much wind around your face with the visor down vents open or closed it makes no difference I was out once with temperatures below freezing I started suffering from brain freeze the wind was that cold inside it and that is not an exaggeration i'm hoping it will be good in the summer but for now im using the S4

I Used it last week to go to work all motorway and it was much better with the temperature being higher but the peak is buzzing when your above 65mph and its a loud buzz just seems to be the left hand side i will have to remove the peak and see if its put together the same way as the right hand side

I wear ear plugs and find it fine, I did find it cool in the colder weather but I wear a balaclava and neck warmer so don't notice it as much now.. for the money don't think you would find a better helmet of this style
