new XL700V in Cornwall

Hi! Just joined. Put down a deposit on a new 700 Transalp yesterday - picking it up next week. I went to the dealers (GT in Plymouth) to test ride a Kwak Versys, but after trying the TA I was sold on it - despite the shorter tank range. It's a real stonker. Funny how 60bhp seems enough - I also ride a K8 Hayabusa and a GSX1400.... The TA is just so great to ride it will be replacing my aging 100,000 mile Mondeo as my go to work weapon of choice and will get a lot of us at weekends too.

Now I am planing a trip round Spain. That's what adventure bikes do for you I suppose. Morocco maybe.... Best use of the company car allowance I could ever imagine!

i have the 700 for 3 months now, and beleive me, im 31, and it was the best Christmas present ever ! (actually it was a present from me to my self )...

Likewise! I mean a present to myself! Considering some hard luggage now (for laptop and clothes in the week and getaway stuff at athe weekends.
