New to trail bikes and here

    Hi

I just thought i would take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Scott Im 26 Married with 2 children. I live in Peterhead Aberdeenshire and Im a mechanic for an oil service company.

I have only been riding bikes for a couple of years but in that time i have had the following.

    87 Kawasaki GPX750R
    87 Kawasaki GPZ1000RX
98 Kawasaki ZZR1100 (still got this one)
    96 Suzuki Bandit 600 with a GSXR 750 engine
    98 Suzuki Bandit 1200

and new to me last night

2001 Honda XR650 R thats a bit about me and my bikes. I usually spend more time tinkering with bikes than riding them but I really enjoy doing both.

I will soon commence posting and asking you guys all sorts of daft XR related questions.
Look forward to spending some time here.
    Cheers
    Scott

Welcome Scott, that's some list of bikes you've had there, I am sure you are not going to be dissapointed in the XR it's a bit of a nutter from what I've been told.

Have a little look around the site there's lots to see and do.

We haev a section specially for the XR so you'll get loads of very useful information in there. If you fancy a ride then have a peek in our rideout section to see if anyone local to you is out.

We also have a big national meet going on in September which was great fun last year and is promising to be better again this year.

ANd then if you just fancy a bit of a chat pop into the chatter you may be lucky and find something bike related in there, although if there is it will be taken off topic quite quickly.

We are a very friendly bunch here, hope you enjoy

If you get stuck or need any help post in the problems with the forum or give one of the mods or admins a shout.

Use the calander one page in each room you visit then you will always have a view of a bike.
