    New to forum

    Hello,

    greettings from Finland.

I purchased my AT about a month ago. It from year `95 but has only 25 tkm on. Its been bought from Germany to Finland four years ago but previous owner didn`t ride it. So it was allmost without use for all those years.

Bike is all that what I was expectating.

    Cheers
    Antti

Welcome to the forum. Glad to see another happy @ owner.

It was wise of you to post pictures of your bike, as you would have been asked for them if you had not.

I wonder how long it will be before there is an organised XRV tour of the Scandinavian countries??

    Ride safe.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Re: New to forum

    Thanks.

I had earlier R80Gs and after that went to road bike, Triumph Speed Triple.
I thought i`d be happy on asphalt.

Triple was fine bike and i liked a lot of its looks and sound, simply impressive bike. But driving with it is either boring or dangerous for licence

I had tried one RD04 couple years ago and i had good experience. When i got S3 sold i had two options, GS or AT (or maybe even Varadero or V-Strom).
I checked 4 AT:s before I found this one, and think i did right choice
GS is also strong bike and liked it alot but i wanted to try something different.

Bike still needs crashbars, centerstand, chain oiler and proper GPS system.
I already have brackets for bags and crashbars + stand should be comming from AfricanQueens.

I don`t think you`ll need so much organisation work to get driving around here upnorth. Vacation, some money in pocket and proper maps will be a good start. And if youre heading to Norway take some extra money to another pocket

I didn`t mention that i have also old G/S which needs to be totally rebuild.
