    Hi all

First time on, just got a center stand and was looking for help, sounds like I need it! I think I'll wait until I've got more than one pair of hands to work on it, and by the sound of some of the instructions, someone who can knit, 2 ropes, 6 loops etc?

Hello and welcome to the site. As far as fitting the centre stand is concerned, two people will definitely make the job easier. Those springs are not the weakest ones I've ever come across!!!

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Re: Hi all

Get a strong hook for pulling the spring and loads of 2 pence pieces.
Stretch the spring and put the coins in between the coils to extend it.

Attach spring, pull coins out with pliers.
