Hello to all from new boy....

I Have been searching through the forums since I bought my TA last year for ideas and inspiration..
Thought it about time I signed up and said hello to all.

I have a 2002 TA650 with a few mods Full arrow exhaust (love the deep sound), Bagster embroidered gel seat (much more comfortable than the standard), one of those metal chain guards you see on Ebay with transalp cut out (seemed like a good idea at the time)

I live in Essex and work in London using the bike everyday absolutely love it.. I need to service it before the winter kicks in properly as I will be using all year round. Once thats out the way I will be looking at spending more money on it. Will need new tyres soon and im looking at changing the rear indicators for something less chunky and possibly a new screen.. Hope to post some pics soon..

Welcome to the mad house, get some piccies when you can. I love to see piccies of the bikes we have here.

You've got a good choice of bike there, I love my transalp it's never let me down and I ride all year round (or will just as soon as I am allowed )

Welcome Sharms! From an ex-Chelmsfordian now in Derbyshire!

Just fitted an MRA Vario screen to mine - makes a real difference to wind buffet at speed. 10% discount for XRV members - check discounts / deals thread.

Already added some extra front lights (adding even more soon - Essex boy stereotype or what?).

Added a homebrew "fat foot" just before the national meet.

Still thinking about seat comfort - gel seat vs Airhawk????
I'm on the Safe House List
03 TA Blue, Givi bars, centre stand, Givi Pannier racks, heated grips, MRA Vario - smooth!

    Also 4x4 with a towbar - and a trailer!

Cheers for that I was looking at the vario screens the wind really picks up on the A13 some mornings I did not realise about the discount.. Just bought some PIAA driving lights from the US waiting for them to turn up cant wait to get them on and light up those dark mornings. As for the gel seat mine has the bagster seat cover over original seat with gel inserts. I do notice the difference it now takes an hour for my arse to go numb instead of the 30 mins it was taking....

Hello and welcome to the forum.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
