    New member in Ireland

Got an Africa Twin 3 years ago. It's a second bike (concurrent, sometimes 1of 3) which I bought mainly because I had moved house and needed a different bike for the mucky back roads during the winter months.
It's a 2001 bike. I had fancied an Africa Twin for quite a while and finally had an excuse. Don't know why Honda stoped making them.

Hello and welcome to the forum - or asylum, depending on your point of view.

There's plenty of folks on here that cannot fathom why Honda don't make the AT anymore either. Clearly, the Honda marketing people don't know about this site.

Anyway, there's plenty of stuff on here, which you probably already know if you've had a look round.

    Ride safe.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Hello and welcome to the forum
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Thanks everyone for the welcome notes.

To TONYK, are you the Tony i met months ago (maybe a year) outside Halfords, coolock? You were on a borrowed bike, i was on my AT.
I tried to put up a photo of the bike but even after 'down-sizing' it, it would not save.

    regards

Welcome to the nuthouse. Normally there would be a nutty Welsh woman on here telling you to post pictures. She's on her hols so post some pics.
