To Introduce myself

Hi everyone,

I am completely new to motorcycling and believe the best way to learn is by talking to you guys! I was recommended this site by a friend and from my initial browsing it was a good choice!

I have been interested in motorcycling for a while but am yet to get off my backside and get a license.

Having read the news that the new license has been delayed till march, I'm thinking of throwing caution to the wind and getting my license through a direct access course. Does anyone have any advice on who to do such a course with and how much i should be paying for such a course? Or, if you believe direct access isn't the best idea, what an alternative method would be for getting my license!

I live in Derby but will be in Coventry from November till christmas, so if anyone lives in this area and is aware of courses please get in touch!

Direct access is the way to go in my opinion . but have no info for your area.

Welcome and good luck with whatever course you decide to take, when your sorted and got yourself some wheels give me a shout I'm pretty much smack bang in the middle of coventry and Derby in sunny Coalville so we should be able to organise so kind of ride out, I'm sure a few of the other "midland" gang would come along too

well, that all happened quite fast!

i'm booked into a direct access course starting in 2 weeks on monday, so by the friday could be legally allowed to ride any bike i want!

think i'll take it slowly however, haha.
