Not many problems to report really. Check that the chain is not over-tight as the chain should look "slack" when on it's side stand. Have a good gander at the state of the chain and sprockets whilst you're at it. If you can, remove the gear lever and the plastic cover to have a really good look at the front sprocket (there's only three bolts to undo). I didn't do this and found the front sprocket to be as hooked as a hooked thing - and this from a dealer too!
The other thing to check are the wheel rims, as they are prone to corrosion where the spokes and the tyre valve pass through the rim.
Check for cracked plastics and other signs of being dropped. Many bikes have crash bars fitted - most before they are needed thankfully.
Usual wear and tear and that's about it really.
