    Accidental Dominator owner

Hi Everyone I am new to this site, and fairly new to Dominator ownership.

Like a few people on here I came by my Dominator by accident, after my Triumph speed triple died in a fire ball of disaster when a 4X4 pulled out in front of me.

I just wanted to get back on two wheels as quick as possible. So when a friend said his dad wanted to sell his dominator I thought the price is good I will have a look.

It wasnt realy what I wanted but you know what? I bloody love it. It gets used for everything, green laning, bothering blades on B roads, going to work, trips into town. Next year it will be going to Slovakia and back a few times and being thrashed sensless around the Isle of Man TT circuit.

So far I have found most of what is said on this site is true! it will cruise at 75mph nicely, just top 100mph downhill, never do less than 160 miles to a tank. Handles fantastic the harder you ride it the more it loves it.

So far it has survived several drops unmarked, and one puddle that came up over the exhausts.

Will be interesting to see how long it survives this abuse.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Welcome to the site, glad your enjoying your dommie, although I have bought two in recent months I have never really been able to enjoy riding one (I ended up buying a couple of duffers, one of which is currently in bits in the corner of the garage) Anyway now I've given up and gone for a Kwak KLR as my winter hack, but one day I'd still like to get hold of a 'NICE' Dominator
