    New member from France/USA

I've researched much info to purchase my first AT. I found this forum filled with great topics and now that I'm a new owner of 1999 AT, I decided to join, ask questions, and hopefully soon ad my own info for other members.

So a brief intro. I was born in France (I'm also a US citizen), but I spent the last 21 years abroad (USA, Asia and Latin America). I've owned various bikes before (used to commute in the States on a Yam XJ 750 RJ), and in North Japan on smaller 250cc Trails (to avoid the Shaken taxes Japanese have above 250cc).

Until now I've used motorcycles mainly to commute. With the AT, I intend to travel with luggage and my wife on the back. We'll probably head off to Maroco in a week or two.

I look forward to exchanging ideas with other members, and hope to meet some of you.

    J-Phi.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
