    Hello from KTMmartin / Mongolbikers

    Hello,

I'm specifically registering today to post my interest on the Salisbury ride-out tomorrow. (edit: I can't, do I need to be a paid up member to reply there?)

I've got a KTM 640 now, but used to have a CityFly 125. My loose claim to fame is that I rode that poor bike from London to Mongolia and got in various capers along the way.

Hope you let me come tomorrow and catch you all in the pub at some stage in the future.

    Martin

Hi and welcome to the Asylum, sorry, forum.

I'm sure that you will be welcome to join the Salisbury Plain ride-out, there don't seem to be "invitation only" events on here.

So, from a CityFly to a KTM640 - in one go??

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Yup. I've had the KTM over a year now, but I've only ridden pavement and green lanes. I'd love to learn how to ride it in anger MX style, but a combination of fear and reliance on my commute means I just bimble along on it mostly. Bimble 'for the win'

Got the KTM to fill the gaps where the Cityfly was hopeless: wet mud, deep sand, big rocks. I just need to find somewhere to let it play

    Welcome to the forum.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
