    Introducing myself

    Hello peeps.

I've been a member on here for a while now and have NEARLY got my TA on the road. I've been waiting to get a set of reasonably priced wheels which I now have. Pending some fettling it will soon have an MOT. I'm a weekend rider and have an '07 Daytona and '98 ZX6R (Also off the road at the moment).

While I've still got mental knobbly tyres on the bike I wouldn't mind trying some greenlaning. I'd appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction, and of course if there's anyone local who would like to show me the ropes.

I'd also be interested to know of any regular socials or meeting places.

Hi teriyakimonkey welcome to the party, Unusually your post seems to have been missed , we really are a friendly bunch .....Can't really help you with the green lane thingy (not really local enough for me) but once Mudwiz spots your question he won't be able to contain himself (he'll have loads of ideas)
There's a good group of us meet up at the Ace regulary on a sunday and in fact one is organised for this coming sunday so why not join us there?
Don't worry if the bikes aren't on the road yet come in the car (as long as you hide it round the back )

    He he. Thanks!

I meet my mates from another forum up there quite a lot so I'll come up there one day. Are there regional sections on here that I haven't spotted?

Fired up the beast today. After nearly two years it started second push of the button (Once I'd remembered that car'd bikes have a choke). Just a bit of lubing and a wheel change and I'll be on the road!

    Welcome to the forum,
I have noticed that you have not got any pictures of your steeds, you can either use an external site like Flickr or Image Shack, or you could pay the £10 Subscription on this site and get PM privilege, use of the for sale section to be able to flog the items you have as surplus and somewhere to host your pictures.
