    Talking New Transalp Commuter!! BBBRRRRR

    Hi All
Tomorrow Im off in a big van to fetch a 2000 XL600v Transalp complete with luggage and crash bars.. Cant wait.
The only problem is I will then have to ride 20miles to work and back each day. I feel some heated grips coming on.

This will be my second TA last one was an 87 and I really liked it 15 years ago!!
So watch this space I will post a piccie once its home and cleaned up.
Thanks for the info by the way, Ive found the forum really useful while making the decision to take the plunge again

    Another happy customer.

Welcome to the forum, by the way.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

    Welcome to the forum.

Heated grips should be standard fitting on bikes nowadays in stead of extras.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
