Hello all, I'm currently in China where I am about 3/4 of the year. My home country is the US where my wife, kids and extended family are. I'm a self employed mechanical engineer that has evolved into a manufacturing consultant and engineeer. No I don't have a pocket protector and I work with my hands more than my pencil. I'm one of those rare birds that actually worked in the field building and servicing machines before I started designing them. I have 6 kids, three of whom are in college, one who is married with 4 of his own and two still in grade school. A wonderful wife that is always waiting for me with open arms when I get home and who can't wait to get rid of me after I've been there for a couple of weeks. She says the house is noisey when I'm there. I have three bikes in the US and three in China. The wife has one too and loves to ride. Have three Kawi's, 08 Connie that went across country this summer (7500 miles in 2 weeks), 04 Vulcan 2000 heavily customised and a 97 pristine ZX1100. In China I have two Zhongshen cheapies that I keep for sh-ts and giggles and lastly but not leastly a 93 XRV750 AT RD04. I think it's a 93 because it has the round aircleaner flange. Not really sure how to tell exactly but the dealer in the UK that sold me some service parts told me so. Hope to take the AT to the states if I can figure out how to export it from here and get it into the US. Currently it's not running because of a dead CDI unit. Had it repaired in a facility here but it only lasted two days and failed again. Could use some help on that one!
