New member interested in performance mods

Im a new member, I ride a new (2009) xl700va, im interested to know about any performance mobs for this model, I noticed that power comander now make a unit for this model and wondered if anyone has any experience of it? is it likeley that it will make a noticeable difference on its own or is it only likeley to work along side other mods (exhaust can, air filter etc)?

I think the 700 is too new for many to have done mods to them.
