We were up there a few times last year, matlock on a sunday is a must.
For the 2007 xmas do we camped at the wild boar and rode all the lanes in the national park and around it. We know it quite well round there so we'll give you a shout next time eh? You're bound to know some we haven't found.

Hello and welcome to the forum, GARY J.
I always liked the original XL185's and 250's they are ideal for a commuter bike.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Re: New to this Forum

I there are a few cracking lanes i have been on from froggat edge to redmires (which i think is now closed to motor vehicles), and up nr hope, Totley, and ringinglow just to name a few.... and that was when i had a DR600 about 1996.... my bike is a good commuter and sounds awesome with a stainless micron, like a big thumper.. anyway guys matlock is ok, it used to be brilliant in the 90's before sports bikes decided to break the law on the A6 from cat and fiddle to matlock, so now you have all law enforcement partys tryin to cash you in... so i dont bother anymore with that area...
