    Hello.....

Have just bought a 2003 Transalp. Have no idea whether I'm gonna like it or not but I've always liked the look of them so thought I'd give it a go. I'm strictly a hobby biker and tend to go touring in Europe each summer for a few weeks so this year it'll be interesting with this bike. I previously owned a Triumph Trophy 1200 which was a seriously heavy bugger and whilst I know the Transalp is a completely different kinda bike I'm still looking forward to giving it a real blast in the south of France!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

What is not to like the Transalp is a superb bike for most things, if you liked the Trophy you will love the Transalp.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
