hi new member needing help

hi marty here from belfast northen ireland have a vara 1ooo year 2000 have had it for about 4 years but bike has been seating parked up for about the last 8 mouths put new plugs in it and battery also renewed the petrol bike turns over but will not start any idea's anyone its doing my head in

Have you flushed the carbs?
You could have an air lock in the fuel supply.

If you've had unleaded in the carbs for the the last 8 months chances are they're all gummed up and need cleaning.
