    Dave Beardsley

Hello, I'm new to this site but been riding bikes on and off since 1963 wshen I had a Fannie Barnet. I now ride a 2008 Honda XR650L and just love it.

The bike is great staight out of the crate but becomes awesome when all the smog kit is taken off and decent filter and jets are fitted. Had it 9 months now and it's coming up to 10,000 miles.

I live in the bush in The Gambia West Africa and am retired so plenty of time for playing and plenty of tracks to play on.

Did some competition stuff in the 70s around the Welsh Two Day (am going there this year) and 4 stroke Trials and Enduros in the South of England, Germany and Hollandriding an Army BSA, Bultacos, Can Ams, CZs and Maicos.

I look forward to using this site.

    David

This is it, ready to go again - high mileage as I live in The Bush. www.reducetheuse.org.uk is the website of our house and a bit about here - you may be interested. Nearset large town 25 miles away, so mileage is high but bike gets more oil and filter changes than specified as the conditions here are HARD
